SUMMARY:
Title 40: Chapter 69 defines the practice of veterinary medicine in South Carolina. It specifies requirements for obtaining a veterinarian and veterinary technician license and the authority and responsibility of the Veterinary Medical Examiners Board to ensure licensed veterinarians and veterinary technicians comply with them. It also identifies regulations veterinarians must follow regarding abandoned animals, emergency clinics and mobile facilities.
